Pretor Beach

Pretor is a tourist settlement 16 km away from Resen. Pretor stretches along the shores of Lake Prespa and is a major tourist attraction for tourists visiting the Prespa region. Pretor is known as a tourist destination with attractive beaches, sports facilities, restaurants, shops, private and hotel accommodation, beach cafes and a place for cultural and sporting events. Although 30 years ago there were several union resorts in Pretor, after the transition in the 90s almost 90% of this infrastructure was abandoned and destroyed. With the increased investments in the last ten years, the number of tourists is increasing but only for daily tourism given the fact that the number of accommodation facilities is very small. During the summer, Pretor is full of vacationers staying in the current accommodation capacity or their own weekend houses, and for the weekends a large number of visitors come to Pretor from Resen, Bitola, Prilep and other settlements in the region. Pretor is one of the tourist places where a large number of passing campers or adventurers who want to explore the natural values ​​of the protected areas Prespa Lake and Ezerani, National Park Galicica and National Park Pelister stop.

The beaches in Pretor start from the village Asamati which is located right at the beginning of Pretor all the way to the beaches in Slivnica. A hiking trail connects Pretor with Slivnica and Krani and is a great place for walks and recreation of visitors.
