Otesevo Beach

Oteshevo is the first tourist settlement that was built in Prespa after the Second World War. This pleasant corner for rest and recreation is about fifteen kilometers away from Resen. It is located on the south side of Lake Prespa, and is located at the foot of the picturesque mountain Galicica, which separates it from Lake Ohrid.

In the past, this important region of Prespa was made up of many villas and hotels that stretched along the lake shore, hidden in the oak forest. In the annals of tourism in Macedonia it is written that Otesevo was once the second tourist center, after Ohrid, when in Prespa there were over 7,000 beds. About 30 years ago, Otesevo was one of the most beautiful tourist resorts in Macedonia, consisting of a dozen hotel complexes, restaurants, sports fields, auto camp, health facility, beach restaurants and water attractions. The Lake View Hotel and the auto camp are now operational. The potential of Otesevo is huge, but it requires large investments in infrastructure, renovation of accommodation facilities and clearing of property relations.
