The Prespa Cross was built in 2000 to mark 2,000 years of Christianity. It is 33 metres tall, a symbolic reference to the years of Jesus Christ's life before his crucifixion and resurrection. The cross, together with the Church of Sts Peter and Paul, stands near the village of Podmočani and offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Prespa.
